What is Influencing Your Sense of Wellbeing?
Have you ever stopped to think about what is actually influencing your sense of well-being?
As this topic is pretty close to our hearts at Wild Wellbeing Co., we thought it might be a good question to think about today. You might think that it’s a pretty obvious question, but if you look around, you will see that everybody has a completely unique life pathway, so there is no one simple answer.
So I will ask you again, “What is influencing your sense of well-being?
What do you know?
The trick is tuning in to the awareness you get the moment you ask yourself the question. Please don’t go into judgement. That is so non-productive.
Simply ask the question - and listen to what your body tells you. Almost instantly, you will know.
Is it the food you’re eating or drinking (or not)?
Is it the amount of type of movement that you’re doing (or not)?
Is it the sleep that you’re missing?
Is it the stress you’re under at work?
Is it the abuse you are receiving?
Is it the environment you are living in? Is it your daily habits?
Is it the people who share your life?
Another point to remember here is that while we often go straight for what is wrong in our life… the things or experiences we are lacking etc. … make sure you acknowledge what is good or great in your life too.
Now take a look at “What would you like to REMOVE from your life.”
What habits do you wish to drop? What don’t you want to do or be? This includes things like stopping smoking or drinking, changing your circle of friends, changing your work or income streams and so on.
The third step is to ask, “What would you like to ADD to your life?”
This is the fun one! Perhaps you would like to increase your income by 20%, or perhaps you want to widen your circle of friends, learn a language, or travel to your dream places.
The final step is to ask, “What action can you take today to create this change?”
New targets are worth nothing if you don’t take action to create them, so what action can you take today to move you toward your dream?
You might have seen this kind of process in a million places, but when you take these simple steps, you will find your life will become so much more satisfying that this will positively impact your overall sense of well-being!
